If you are a noob and you want fast cash, grab 30 coins, travel to Port Sarim, and talk to one of the sailors, they will ask if you'd like to go to Karamja, say yes, when you arrive, talk to a guy named Luthas, ask him for employment, he will ask you to fill a crate with bananas, go to the banana trees and pick some, then report back to him for 30 coins. If repeated, it can get you some cash, it seems slow, but when you first start out its a pretty good way.
Tip #2. Another trick to get some quick cash, buy silk in Al Kharid for 3 coins each, or if you say no to it, he'll say that the lowest he'll go is 2 coins, then go to Varrock and you can sell your silk for 16 coins, this may not seem significant but if you do it for a while, you can get some fast cash.
Tip #3. This is a tip for people who first start out, or are mid-level. if you get cow hides you can sell them in the Al Kharid bank for some cash, some people will pay big bucks for these, watch out for those people.
Tip #4. Finally, a tip for high levels, playing castle wars is a great way to get decorative armor for your house. (sorry, construction levels are members only) The decorative armor is good for members who want to look good when there are visitors to their house. Of course, for members who don't care if they look rich then there isn't a point to doing this!
Tip #5 For all levels, playing the Void Knights mini-game is great for experience that you gain from killing the monsters, and as a reward for winning. You also get a cash reward of 700-800gp or something around there for each win! More Information about mini-games is available by going to the knowledge base at .runescape.com. Search for Pest Control if you'd like info on this mini game.
Tip #6. For all levels, mining is one of the best ways to earn quick cash , so if your new, and you dont like the tips above, and you've never heard of mining, you should start now. For starters mining is the best way, but for you high levels out there, fishing, fletching, and woodcutting can be the best ways.( of course, if your fletching is 50, fishing at least 40, and woodcutting 60, and mining is still a great way.) Oh, and just for you begginers out there the dwarven mines, which can be accesed by the following directions, are a great place to mine. If you are in falador, go to the center, and follow the path going north, take a right once you reach the rock signpost, follow the path until you see a building on your minimap northward, go up to the wall and follow it until there is a path to go across, go across and go south, and climb down the ladder. from barbarian village go out westward then go north-west. And for people obsessed with shortcuts, in Falador, there is a secret staircase leading to a part of the dwarven mines with lots of coal and iron, and some tin, mithril, adamantite, and gold ores. if your combat level is less than 14, don't even think about taking the staircase, the part of the dwarven mines the staircase leads to is infested with level-14 scorpions, and if your combat level is less than 32, watch out for the level 32 king scorpions in there. the normal route is best for people mining copper, tin, and iron. If your in the center of Falador, go east along the path until you see a fountain. Take the small path leading north. then take a right. Keep going until you see a building. Go down the stairs and there you are.
Tip #8. This is something that I do, and is sort of fun! Every holiday that Jagex posts updates for the holiday, they always have a special thing! I still see people with their easter rings. I save all the holiday stuff, I have the full skeleton thing, the reindeer hat, and an easter ring. People who just start out think it's cool when you turn into an egg! :-)
Tip #9. This is a good tip for people who want to kill monsters that are a higher level than you. Simply get a poisoned dagger and attack your foe a few times, and watch it die after the slow effects of poison, if it still has health, repeat. I sure most people knew this but I'm sure starters who can't kill high level things yet will like to know this.
Tip #10: all levels: picking flax and turning into bowstring is a quick and easy way to make money. go to the flax field near Seers Village, once you have a full inventory, go out of the west exit to the fields, then go north. you'll come across a small building with a ladder going up. go up the ladder, theres a spinning wheel. spin the flax to bowstring, go down the ladder, keep going north. Theres a bank, put the bowstrings in and repeat the whole thing over again. Make sure you have at least 500 bowstrings before you sell, i don't see many people buying less than that. And sorry, non members this tip is for member only.
Tip #11: This is a members only tip, but if you go to the silk stalls in East Ardougne, get two friends to come with you. Have them steal silk from the stalls. Once one of them have an inventory, ask them to give it to you. Then go to the other silk stall to the silk merchant. He'll ask you how much you want for the silk. Say 120 coins, he'll say, "You'll never get that much for it, ill be nice and give 50 for it. Then say,"60, and its a deal", he'll agree, and you get the money. This is a VERY effective way to get money. You will get 1628 coins per one of your friends inventories, and you'll get approximately 1 trip per minute for each of your friends participating, which means with 2 friends, you'll get 195,360gp per hour, which means you can get 1 mil gp just sitting around waiting for more silk. Don't worry, your freinds will definitely agree to this, they get thieving xp, you get the money. Wow!
Tip #12: Make cannonballs, these are made from steel bars, you need to have done "Dwarf Cannon" to do this, you need an Ammo Mould, and use the steel bars with a furnace. Sell the cannon balls for 170-200gp each.
Tip #13:Another members only tip, get your fletching level to 40, and if it is, then this is a good tip, make willow longbows (u), and sell them. These, at 20-25, are the same, if not more than regular willows, and you get fletching xp! Once you can make maple longbows (u), those are 100 ea.! Now you know why everyone fletches...

Skills Guide

Make a mental note, im only doing the most common profitable skills that people do. Still under construction. *=members only skill.

Combat: This is a guide of generally what monsters will get you the most xp, for your level. Again, this is just some guesses at what YOU should kill at YOUR level.

Combat levels 3-8: regular old rats will do fine. These can be find in Lumbridge, near the castle, south of the entrance to the castle.
Combat levels: 11-20: level 3 and 6 Giant rats, behind Lumbridge Castle.
Combat levels: 21-30: level 9 Al Kharid Warriors, in the Al Kharid Palace.
Combat levels: 31-40: Level 18 skeletons, in Edgeville Dungeon, just North of the entrance in Edgeville.
Combat levels: 41-50: Level 21 guards, found guarding Falador and Varrock for non members, and Ardougne and many others for members.
Combat levels: 51-60: Level 28 Shantay Guards, at the Shantay Pass
Combat levels: 61-70: Level 32 Kalphites, in the Kalphite lair.
Combat levels: 71-80: Level 42 Moss Giants, found West of the fishing guild.
Combat levels: 81-90: level 53 Ogres, East of Castle Wars.
Combat levels: 92+: level 82 lesser demons, in the Karamja Volcano.

Fishing: This is what you should fish for the best xp.

1-39: Fish whatever you can catch at your level, it doesn't really matter.
40-76: Lobbies,Lobbies,Lobbies...Their such good xp.
76+: they may be slow at first, but they are awesome for earning cash, they're 1k ea! They're sharks! But Lobbies r still better xp....so....
76-85: Lobbies...
85+: Now u do sharks!!!
Prices: anything below fishing lvl of lobbies: just sell to the freaking general store nobody buys them...
Raw Lobbies: 200-250gp each.
Cooked Lobbies: 200-230gp each.
Raw Shark: 900-1000gp each.
Cooked shark: 1000-1100gp each.

Woodcutting:
1-15:what choice do you have! cut normal trees and make fires from the logs...No one will buy them anywway.
15-30:what choice do you have, cut oaks and make fires out of them, no one buys those either.
30-70: willows all the way! sell the willow logs for 25gp each, make sure you have at least 500 before trying to sell them.
70-99: Cut yews, in fact, i'm thinking you should go yews all the way to 99!
99: Cut mages, they wont be very slow because your 99, so their amazing $, so unless you want to go for 200,000,000 wc xp, cut mages, yews are still better xp though.

Mining/Smithing: you know what to do, mine what you can, smith what you can, SELL what you can!

Herblore*
Bottom line: AMAZING WAY TO EARN MONEY!!! you can sell antpoisons 1kgp each, and their lvl 5 to make! Prayer Pots prices are changing daily, but people will sometimes pay small fortunes just for one!

Runescape In-Game pictures

no, this weirdo is not me :-)

Weapon Guide

 	(Note: click on the arrow and there are pages I accidentally put under this page)
Obviously not all the weapons on RuneScape are here, but these are all the weapons worth using. I can't find any Godsword pictures, sorry people.
A bronze dagger, obviously a member of the dagger family, and is also the first weapon beginners are given access to. But of course, it is the worst weapon in the game.

A bronze sword, the weapon beginners start out with. a bronze sword is level four smithing to make. And is not at all a good weapon. But for beginners it's actually OK.

A bronze longsword, for beginners this is actually a pretty good weapon to have in your possession.

A bronze battleaxe. Battleaxes tend to do more damage than other weapons, but are slower between attacks than most other weapons.

A bronze scimitar. scimitars have a very short time between attacks, but to tend to do less damage than slower weapons.

A bronze mace. Not many people use maces, and they tend to be slightly on the slower side of time between attacks. But they only do a fair amount of damage. That, in my opinion, is why you don't see that many people with maces.

A bronze 2h (two handed) sword. 2h swords are also on the slow side of time between attacks, but also do very good damage. The downside is you cannot be wielding a shield while weilding 2h swords.

A bronze woodcutting (wc) axe. Wc axes are not generally used for anything but woodcutting, however they can be used as weapons. weapon wise, they are as slow as battleaxes and don't do as much damage.

A bronze pickaxe. Pickaxes are only used for mining, but can be used as weapons. Pickaxes are used by some, but generally aren't better than average in combat.

These weapons are all the same types of weapons as the bronze, but are just to show all the different weapons in RuneScape.

       Iron=Attack 1

                                 Steel= Attack 5

                                  Black= Attack 10

                                     Mithril=Attack 20

Adamant=Attack 30

Rune=Attack 40

Dragon(Members Only)=Attack 60

Special Weapons

An Abbysal Whip, a very fast weapon, and it has a very good strength bonues, an amazing weapon overall.

One of the many barrows weapons, this is Verac's Flail.

One of the many barrows weapons, this is Guthan's Spear.

Another barrows weapon, this is Dharok's Great Axe.
This is Ahrim's Battlestaff, a mage staff, also barrows.

This is Karil's Crossbow, a ranged weapon, from the barrows.

A Granite Maul, a very slow weapon with good strength and a good special attack.

All of

These weapons

Are

Obsidian!

Armor Guide
